Testing Contribute

This my first test of the Adobe Contribute  editing software. So far it seems really easy to use and more friendly than just typing into Blogger. It was really very easy to get this up and running and connected to Blogger from my Mac.

I am not sure how well it will integrate into my PhotoBlogging, but we shall see over the next few days. I am also interested in how the other web integration facilities will work.

Rubbish Update!

A quick post to say that I went for a walk down Jacks Lane last night and the fly tipped rubbish is still there. I will once again chase the local council.

Rubbish, Rubbish, Everywhere!!

Why is it that people feel the need to drive out to lovely countryside locations and dump their rubbish?? Do they not have waste disposal facilites that they can use?? This picture was taken in the week at Jacks Lane in Harefield. This is a green lane that runs parallel to the Grand Union Canal and is part of the Colne Valley Way path, so is frequented by walkers, horses and people on mountain bikes. This means that the rubbish is not only an eyesore and health hazard, but it can cause accidents. Hillingdon Council have been informed of this and I will report back once the rubbish is cleared.

I hate this!!

Ducati Fun

I have to declare that I am a fan of Ducati Motorbikes. My pride and joy is a 2004 model Monster 620 -and it's RED! What do I like about this bike??

Well it looks great, it has classic simple lines and the high level cans finish off the visuals. When you start it up, the noise is great - that lovely Ducati V-Twin throb.... Riding gives you lots of mid-range torque so you can ride on the throttle rather than having to keep at the top of the rev range and change gears every two seconds as you seem to have to do on a V4.

Issues, well the turning circle is not great - but that makes you think about your U-turns! Also you can only use a tankbag for luggage as the high level pipes stop you putting anything on the back (but this stops people trying to cadge a ride).

More thoughts later..

Test of email posting

This is a test of the email post to Blog facility. You will see many
posts of this type over the next couple of weeks. Sorry that they are
not that interesting, but I/We have to learn to drive the tools
behind this.
